Is that too much to ask?
Humph. Obviously.
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Is that too much to ask?
Humph. Obviously.
Beth : You know, I do not blame you. If my boyfriend acted like that, I would go absolutely bitch-cakes.
Lisa : Bitch-cakes?
Beth : I just made that up. Think it's gonna catch on?
Bitch-cakes
Gazizza, dilznoofusses! Yep, Newsradio certainly was crazappy. The DVDs for seasons 1 & 2 are finally out and they are excellent. ("Bitch-cakes" is from the episode 2.17, "Physical Graffiti" -- the late-season 2 eps were named for Led Zeppelin albums.)
ETA: Just noticed this on the page I linked to: "'Bitchcakes' and other mots justes." But they don't have the Dave/Bill exchange: "Ah, yes, la mot juste." "More juice, right on!"
I just want everyone to love it the way I do and feel the way I feel and also never disagree with me.
I love it the way you do. The rest is, sadly, not possible.
This episode really nudged me in all the right places. The FBI-plot -- even though not important at all for my liking of the show -- was better than the two before, mainly du to the fact that I find most who-done-it's pretty boring. Not only that, but the episode had all these other things such as great scenes with Adam Baldwin and Katie Finneran (finally).
"Bitchmuffin" must be a positive word, because hey, a muffin 's a muffin!
I love this show. (I have just seen episode 3).
That is all.
A new thread, and finally caught up with the show. Love it--now, off to the screening!
oh top 40?
well that's interesting and pathetic of me.
Off I go again.
Allyson ... great article on Popgurls.com
Tim ... damn fine show! Watched the first ep last week and have ep2 on my hdd and ep3 downloading.
This was, obviously since it's what I quoted at the site, my favorite part of Allyson's popgurls piece:
Rebecca never stole her friend's boyfriend or nursed her best girlfriend through a bad breakup with Pringles dipped in hot fudge. She went to school, hid behind her unicorn-print Mead Trapper Keeper, got good grades, and kept mostly to herself. If you turned her dial two clicks to the right, she could have ended up with a few decapitated heads in a freezer in an isolated compound in Montana.
