Bah. Silly, FOX. It was charming.

The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I should make a sound clip and put it on our 404 page.
Huh. So Fox edited that out on the ones they aired? That's an odd thing to cut.
They always had Promo Voice over it.
So, I was at the world premiere of this little film called Serenity last night.
At the Q&A afterwards, people asked the usual questions (that is, they asked the cast to sing and dance. Again and again. I'm not kidding).
So, last question? I got the mic, stood up and asked: So, Joss, Tim Minear for Serenity 2?
Joss looked totally shocked he got an actual, you know, question. Then he corrected the fact I still can't pronounce Minear. His response? Camera man got it and I haven't got the footage yet to quote... But it was favourable. The campaign for Tim on Serenity 2 has begun.
The LOOKS I got from the Whedon fanboys! I suggested another person! Oh my gosh!
To Joss' credit without any prompting early on, he gave Tim muchos vocal love on stage for Firefly.
I took Jars and Nibbler into the press conference. I think Nibbler may have soiled her seat when Sean Maher walked in.
Nice work, Kevin. For all my Joss fangirlishness I would love to see Tim on Serenity 2, and I always smirk when people who think he's (Joss) infallible get shaken up a bit. (I think that Tim + Joss = True Balance 4Eva.)
You going to be in Edinburgh for a while, Kevin? I'm heading up that way tomorrow, myself, with tickets for the screening tomorrow night...
I thought I had "prude" covered for the whole board?
Nilly, darling, one of the coolest things about you is that while you are personally chaste you are in no way a prude. It's darned impressive.
Now, how can I fly to Edinburgh tomorrow?
Nice recent blurb in the Voice:
Wonderfalls
Thursdays at 9 on Logo
It didn't matter how much critics (including me) loved this oddball series about a snarky young woman coerced into performing random acts of kindness by talking tourist crap. Fox canceled it after just a few weeks. But now all those unseen episodes will hit the air on the spanking new gay network Logo—presumably because of the wonderful gay sister character played by Katie Finneran.
Yay, gay sister!
