Wasn't that the plot of BtVS season 7, and much of A:ts season 5?

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Yes, and it was the most he'd entertained me since Something Blue.
Seems the Spike movie post crashed whedonesque.
And thus are we grateful for the lack of linking.
Pair have suspended Whedonesque for using too much server resources... I think they'll be moving web host shortly.
Does Whedonesque have a way to donate? Like, I'm all not up to it now, but they provide me with a valuable service and if they are going to be paying more for hosting, I'd like to throw some money their way once I'm all, you know, employed. Or do they just make enough money from the Amazon store?
...also? I totally wanted to scold the people doubting Tim over there. Have they SEEN his work? (And I wanted to say, "YOU ARE MEAN!" to all the people criticizing AYNOHYEB. But that's because it's a very special episode to me. Like, Thank You note special.)
all the people criticizing AYNOHYEB
Well, now, I'm almost glad Whedonesque is down. (Sorry, Simon and Caroline.) Takes away the temptation to get into crazy internet battles.

Yeeeeeeeeah. All I said was that I had complete faith in Tim and that it was a very special episode to me. I think that was fairly tame.
You know you love the craxy people really, Kirsten.
Personally, I think Whedonesque should have a donation run, and move web host. Pair is very expensive, and ultimately not performing very well.
O'Bannon has created a number of cult faves, including the early 1990s Fox skein "Alien Nation"
Tangent: I didn't know he did "Alien Nation," and I loved that show!

So with Cindy on the hilarity of the headlline. It wasn't until I gave up trying to parse it and just read the article that I figured out (sort of) how they were using put. I know not the lingo.
