The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What is even happening?

I really meant first American political sex scandal. I'm aware of scarlet letters and such from earlier times. So stop oppressing me.
Hee!

Didn't Matt and Ben do a TV thing of Zinn's People's History? How'd that go?

Did they? I remember they gave it a shout out in GWH. I have a copy sitting on my bookshelf, of course, I think it's my Massachusetts proof of residency.

Oh, your poor eyes. Yes, enough with this sex! Bring on some violence!!

Bless you, Narrator.

I may have to seize the cat.

What's that R&G are Dead line about "we can give you blood and sex"?

We can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, or blood and rhetoric without the love, or all three (I forget what goes here), but we can't do love and rhetoric without the blood. (Some line about blood being important.)

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

I read a script solely on Hamilton's military accomplishments and barely touched on his love life or political career and it still went long! He even had adventures as a youth. The guy had one full life!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

From IMDB:

We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Red-Eye looks sexy good.

Cillian Murphy, yum.

Definately seeing that tomorrow.

Did I ever tell people my Cillian Murphy in a bathroom story? It's my brush with fame (urine) story.

Narrator - Aug 19, 2005 10:25:03 am PDT #2664 of 10001
The evil is this way?

Narrator's right about the funny clothes and wigs being a thing. Though I understand HBO is doing "John Adams." So maybe some multi-part cable thing could work.

There was some A&E special on George Washington with Jeff Daniels in the lead and the absurdity of him in wig kept taking me out of what was otherwise a pretty good story. I notice that in "The Patriot" most of the characters (including Mel Gibson's) did not wear wigs.

Narrator's right

I may make this my tag line. I am right -- Tim said so (ignore the editing of what I was right about).

Bless you, Narrator.

Ok, now I'm worried.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He creeps me the fuck out, even in stills.

Oh, me too. And McAdams is such a radiant sweetie, poor dear.
