How'd that go?

'Same Time, Same Place'
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

My favourite idea I've heard recently for a sitcom is one where a straight guy inherits his uncle's gay bar, and he's not allowed to sell it.
Quick! Someone write the pilot and precis, and don't forget to give character bios and your plans for making it to episode #100. Also include the style in which the sitcom is to be filmed.
Then give me a %age.
Did you pitch a comedy? Because I'm pretty sure they'd be promoing your new series right now, if you did.
Went fine. And pearls.
I didn't pitch. It was about them explaining to me why I want to bring my next two things to them and not, um, someplace else. I had the eggs benedict.
So they pitched to you. What was the offer? Would I approve? Was the eggs benedict runny?
ita, I'm on it. Writing a part for Colin in which he teaches everyone how to Chapeau.
Not too runny. About right.
Allyson, if you can make it so they'll need a martial arts consultant, that'd be great.

Um. So it's like that Baked Alaska idea that NBC already passed on? Except gay?

Don't forget The Rules. I think the next time they call you're supposed to say you're having sushi with ABC.
