It's a good question, Fay. Perhaps he put a ladder up over his front door and walks under it on the way to work in every morning.
The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I figure there will be another show with Tim Minnear in some capacity. It's just irritating to have a show I enjoy - The Inside, Wonderfalls, etc. - come on, give me a taste, make me want to find out more, and then disappear. They aren't given a chance to settle in, let me know who the people are, how they're messed up, how their various quirks play off each other and how they interact. What grates is the garbage that comes on, and stays on, while these intelligent, intriguing shows with depth and resonance flicker across the screen and are gone. sigh.
ION, I've been hanging out here too long. The guy down the hall from me was crunching celery and I was thinking how much it sounded like ... well, something from a Tim Minnear show.
Hey, hivemind, what's the Sarah McLachlan song that plays in Caged Bird when everyone's outside in the snow?
Thanks in advance, since I'm about to leave work and don't know when I'll get back online.
"Dirty Little Secret."
Muchas gracias, P-C.
Speaking of Wonderfalls, I finally got around to watching the dvds I borrowed from Sparky last month, and saw Crime Dog and Muffin Buffalo the other day.
And they were fun! And funny! And I like the brother, because he's annoying but believable. And the bartender, with whom there is great chemistry.
So. I'm glad I'm finally watching these, it's good stuff.
So, when is the Wonderfalls movie coming out?
An intriguing idea. I think I like it.
If Bridget Jones can make a million or two, Jaye certainly could do at least as well.
