Yes, this. And also because we're not actually doing anything about the cancellation. We're not out campaigning. We're vocal in this thread, right here, so I kept thinking, "is he reading Buffistas?"
Hm. This makes me wonder, if those few "Save the Inside" people are vocal enough for the writer to notice? I myself am part of a band of (exactly three, oddly enough) people who just keep saying "WHY?" to each other over and over. Is that especially vocal?
That was odd Partyman, wasn't it?
Very odd.
Cindy, your "I Never Wrote for Buffy" pitch is wonderful.
I hate this "same hair color = same person" thing. It happens far too often.
It does. And seemingly only with the girls. Odd.
Calling it a cult show somehow feels less bad, to me.
To me too. I dislike the implication that supportive fans of a show or a writer may be part of a cult. (Not that I wouldn't join a cult that involved singing for Tim. Just sayin').
Hey Partyman, happy belated. Did you have a lovely birthday?

Partman and Cindy justa joined right inner.
Umm. I realize I don't remember any of the rest of this song. So just assume that the verses have some clever bits about death and beagles and Tim and maybe Buffy.

Yeah, it was relaxing and low-key (apart from the drunken running between bookstore queues) and kinda fun.
Though my still being this hungover 48 hours after my last drop of alchohol kinda sucks.

All this singing.... I now have Rebecca Locke stuck in my head doing "Going Through The Casefiles".

Kinda threatens your rep, doesn't it. Or does it cement it?
As a member of the cult, I totally see the Jodie Fosterness.
And I can't wait to watch Cindy's show!
I went to "X" last night and listened to the Pistols, the Weirdos, Germs and The Bags all the way to Costa Mesa.
They play the Galaxy? I used to live down the street from there. Costa Mesa is a town BUILT for blasting punk rock while driving through. Especially the Germs.
And if people are watching your thing and their expectation is "why isn't this like Buffy? Why isn't that actor playing it more like that other actor I was thinking of?" They sometimes don't seem to see the thing that actually IS there.
I watched the Inside and thought to myself, "This isn't very much like '21 Jump Street.' She could be more like Johnny Depp."
I'm watching Stargate SG-1 and cursing it for not being Farscape.
I watched the later seasons of Buffy and cursed them for not being the earlier seasons.
I watched Saint Cordy ascend and cursed David Greenwalt.
