Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Apologies, it wasn't flamebait. I think some people got that backwards.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

arby, my SO picked up that the boss was Tuvix. I laughed him out of the house.

I guess I'll have to let him back in then.

I may have to seize the cat.

Thanks Cindy, P-C, Frankenbuddha. I only just watched the episode NOW, which is why I am so late with the thank yous.

I was reading posts about the last episode of the inside, and someone was appalled that Web suffered no consequences from hanging the hooker out on a limb and being responsible for her attack. The poster said that obviously Tim had learned nothing from Joss.

Am I the only person who doesn't CARE if Tim learned anything from Joss? Who might in fact, DANCE, if Tim deliberately ignored some Joss-things? There's something to be said for making one's own mark on the world. Isn't there? (Tim, this is not an invitation for you to go around ACTUALLY making marks places, cuz ew.)

Also, also - is it not true that sometimes in life, people do bad things and don't get in trouble for it? Allyson has repeatedly brought up the noirness of TI, and since I recently took a Barnes and Noble University on noir I am, of course, now an expert... but one of the common themes in noir is that bad stuff happens, and the people who did the bad stuff get away with it.

Art doesn't ALWAYS have to be didactic, I hope.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Saw it last night finally, and dayum. First, and most shallow, Coyote is awfully sexy for an old guy. I had a huge crush on him in the '80s and I am glad to see the dude still has it going on. Second, loved the WHOLE FREAKING EPISODE. Lots of interesting darkness, the too-early entrance into the record store was great, the writing was strong and the cast just hit it out of the park, including Hooker and NailBiterDude.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

Oh, I agree - Web was fucking hot despite (or maybe because of) the way he made my skin crawl. But what he's doing with his mind (and voice - mmmmm) is so sexy that I feel like it would almost be anticlimactic for him to allow physical contact - too ordinary for the likes of him. Or maybe that was just with the hooker - I doubt I'd kick him out of bed!

I just looked up Coyote on IMDB. He's 63!! Dude looks ten years younger. I knew he had a full life before he got into the biz, but it turns out he was 39 before he started acting. How cool is that?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Do some research, asshole.
