Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Thanks for the congrats & the info, Nilly! Very nice: Tim, Jane, and Ben Edlund coming up. And Kevin Hooks is directing two episodes, so I'll use this a flimsy excuse to recount one of my favorite tv moments. Hooks' "The White Shadow" co-star Byron Stewart played the same character, Warren Coolidge, on "White Shadow" and "St.Elsewhere". WS guest star Eric Laneuville was a St. Elsewhere regular, too. When WS regular Timothy Van Patten (Mario 'Salami' Pettrino) guest starred on St. Elsewhere the elevator opened & the three WS alumni looked at each other before Coolidge yelled out "Salami!" Van Patten, somewhat taken aback, mutters, "Uh... I think you've got me confused with someone else." The elevator doors close. Meta-marvelous.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Meta-marvelous.

Heh! St. Elsewhere was the best with the meta. They also had Mr. Carlin on from Bob Newhart being treated for clinical depression. He spotted Betty White (playing a different character) but called her Sue Anne.

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

I don't know in the grand scheme of things how many people make decisions on what they watch from what they read at Ain't it Cool but one way to get someone not to watch is to tell them "Herc Loves Tonight’s THE INSIDE, Likely The Last Fox Ever Airs!!" If you don't already watch and it's the last show, why bother?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you don't already watch and it's the last show, why bother?

Because it's an hour of good TV recommended by someone who's taste you like? Because there are people who like to see the last of? Because there might be people who figured they'd catch an ep sometime, and now they figure it has to be this week?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm watching because this is the one where Adam Baldwin reveals the tattoo of Bill Clinton on his left asscheek.

Does that need to be whitefonted?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

What? Not his right asscheek? The spoilers have betrayed me!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

What? Not his right asscheek? The spoilers have betrayed me!

It's Clinton. He's always on the left.

It's Clinton. He's always on the left.

Only according to conservatives. He's a committed centrist, which means that proper tattoo location would confirm what his detractors have always thought: Clinton's an...
