Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

What is even happening?

Hee. Easily. If you haven't already read about it, maybe someday, Deb will tell the story of Jo's birth.

We requested a change of nurses somewhere in the process with Julia's birth. I behaved myself as well as I could by deciding that if she wasn't soon replaced, I'd just get up off of the table and literally throw her out. I can remember the mental image I allowed myself--of picking her up over my head, and throwing her through the doorway. Understand, that was before I'd found BtVS, and that I have never committed a physically violent act against anyone. I wouldn't even hit my slappy friend back, when she was hitting me everyday, and my mother was begging me to slap her back.

I feel badly for fathers and other birthing partners, because during the more extreme moments of labor and delivery (transition was the worst for me each time, which is the last phase before it's pushing time, and it's extremely uncomfortable), it's not necessarily the case that just knowing the woman in quesiton really well will be of any use in deciding how she'd like to be touched, talked to, and reassured. I remember when Scott and I were driving to the hospital to have Ben, that I kept silently reminding myself that when the going got tough, I should remind myself how much I love him, and that whether he was giving me the help I needed or not, that was surely all he'd be tryng to do. It turned out fine though, he was very supportive and responsive.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Because it's timely and always makes me laugh, Hug a Timmy

It should be noted that I do not condone "hugs" nor calling anyone "Timmy."

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

So I just watched the tape of last week's two episodes, and despite one cover-my-eyes moment (with the razor) they were fantastic. Went back and read through the watch-and-post, which was nice.

I very much hope the preview was a fakeout, because Web's my favorite thing on the show, followed closely by Mel's haircolor and the whole of Danny. (I don't suppose there's anyway to find out what they used for Katie Finneran's hair, is there? Unless that's her actual color, in which case I'm consumed with the jealousy.)

I don't mind if he goes a little dark, with the getting prostitutes to dye their hair blonde (and by "don't mind" I mean "will find extremely skeevy but can deal with), but I like him dark beige and no darker.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

A recent amusing exchange as DH and I were watching WF dvds (it was his first time):

DH: Why does that woman playing the wife look so familiar?
Me: Oh, she was on Firefly. You remember, the mechanic? Kaylee?
DH: Ohhhh, that's right. [pause] I really liked her on Firefly.
Me: Yep, her character is the sweetest. We all love her.
DH: You know, this makes me dislike Heidi even more! BE THE GIRL FROM FIREFLY! BE THE GIRL FROM FIREFLY!

My favorite part was how completely indignant he got.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

OK, those eps were great. I hope Web is running amok and killing people in the next one, even though I'm sure it's a mislead. It would just be so awesome to have their very grey leader go fully black-hat.

No one has mentioned my two favorite lines:

When they're listening to the tape of what's-her-face suicide girl, and Danny goes, "You tell her, Gary!" His delivery just cracked me up.

When Paul told Rebecca, "The last person who sat at this desk and isolated herself from the group ended up ripping her own face off." I laughed out loud at that one, even though not sure it was meant to be funny.

This is my first post, but I had to register to say that I just saw Bewitched and sat there going "why do I know that actress...." It was Mel-- only with blondey/brown hair. It's a small part as Will Ferrell's ex-wife, but she's memorable.

I also had to post because I have a terrible secret... I'm becoming hooked on The Inside, and I'm just a little bit in love with Paul. I know, I've read posts from people who have not yet joined the Paul bandwagon, but I'm feeling the love.

I don't think anyone really cares as long as it works.

I love Paul too. Actually I first planned on watching after I heard that Jay Harrington would be on it. Then I heard about Tim's involvement and then Katie and Adam signed on and I knew it would be great. Thanks for another amazing show Tim.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Damn. I might actually have to see Bewitched now. I despise Will Ferrell, but even a little bit of KF might be worth it.

She's only in one scene which is too bad because Bewitched could have used more of her.
