Has anyone seen the trailer for the Rent movie? Jesse Martin is in it (thank gooddess) and seemingly lots of the original cast. And Rosario Dawson. I'm trying to work out how I feel about all that.

I like Katie Holmes's work. But if she's had this level of dissemination ability in her the whole time, she should have thrown it up onscreen.

Yeah, they kept the original cast for every role except Joanne and Mimi. I think the trailer looks good, but I'm really preconditioned to love the film.

I saw the original cast like a month after it opened with my GATT. Or maybe she wasn't my girlfriend, she was more like my Girlfiend with whom I was Cheating on my boyfriend at the time....
anyhow, the show is tied up in all of that for me. Though I DO use Seasons of Love in my class.

I haven't seen the Rent trailer, but I know that I would go to see it no matter who they cast.
It never even occured to me that being on Central time meant getting into the office at 8:00. I was just saying that when I was in the classroom, I routinely got to my school by 7:30 in order to prep for the day but now I don't know how I did it. I've gotten so accustomed to 9 - 6 office hours.
