Smart Cars are so cute

They are! And they fit everywhere! And they get ~70 mpg. And they are not expensive. And the guy who started Swatch designed them. And you can get the panels in pretty much any pattern you want. I love them a lot.

I think that Mercedes has been planning to start selling Smart Cars in the U.S. in a couple of years or so

According to a Wired article last year, DOT safety compliance hadn't been met yet.

Any rhetoriticians around? What's the term for saying your opponent is guilty of whatever you are really guilty of? I call it "The Big Lie" but I'm not sure that's the real term. It's like if the USSR said "America doesn't allow religious worship," or the Republicans saying that the Democrats support Big Business.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Here's what I really want - hybrid minis, hybrid VW bugs, and hybrid Smarts.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I don't know... transference?

Dammit, I used to know this.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

hybrid minis

I would totally buy this. Well, in the world where I could afford a car, I would totally buy this.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hybrid convertible Jettas.

That would be nice too, ita.

I just want everyone else to drive them too, so I won't end up feeling like an egg with a target painted on it.

Smart does have the iMove, which has the 20Gig iPod fully integrated into the sound system.

Next question: What else changes over time, besides technology and society? ("The brilliance of the Constitution is that it remains applicable yadda yadda yadda")

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I think the Smart SUV is still pretty tiny. More like a small hatchback that they call a SUV.

Hmmm....okay, but it has to be adorable. I insist on it.
