He's listed at 6'7. Don't know how much of that is real, and how much he achieved when.
6'6" is too tall for anyone shorter than say 6 feet.

I don't think he was that tall back then. Maybe 6' 5"? But I come from a family of tall guys (my brother and dad are both 6' 1") so it didn't seem that tall to me. I do know they listed him at 6' 7" in the high school basketball programs (but they listed my sister at 5' 4" and that was complete bullshit).

I unwittingly facilitated a fling between a chief basketball player, and a former co-worker, during a summer job. Okay, that sounds more exciting than it actually was, but he used to call for her, and I would answer the phone, and get her. I never got to meet him, though. At the same job, I was once covering the reception desk, and doing some project at the same time. Sensing someone had approached the desk, I looked up, right about into Dave Cowans' belly. It took a long time to look all the way up to his face. I think he was about 6'6" or 6'7".

I'm trying to remember how tall my jackass boss was, because he seemed impossibly tall at first, but I got used to it pretty quick. NOT that I was making out with jackass boss. Jackass.

Pshaw. I mean, bit of a crick in the neck, yes, but other than that, pshaw. And I'm with ita. I had a friend who was 6'8" -- definitely in the range of "Wow! Tall!" but not, like, bizarrely so.
