Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm with them -- if you're sick (and you are) take the sick day.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Three months is a pretty common rule for allowing a sick day -- I'd say nearly three is perfectly reasonable if its at your discretion.

BAH. I thought I had put together a decent if snacky lunch, only to find that the carrots I left in the fridge are now frozen and the peanuts I bought are honey roasted. Hmph. There's no way the carrots will thaw in an edible manner, is there?

I think 3 months may be a common rule for allowing paid time off for being sick, but if you are sick, stay home anyway. If their rules say you'll get paid, you should get paid.

Of course, this is from a woman who's been fighting a migraine for 4 consecutive days, so I'm a little biased.

It's not even ten o'clock here and I need a nap.

Dude. I needed a nap the moment my alarm went off this morning.

What is even happening?

Go in and infect them, unless it is not contagious. If it is not contagious, stay home.

Contagious migraines would ROCK.
