Swouncing

Look out, you guys!

What Jesse said (I can't have words of my own, due to my extensive not being here. Even right now, when you may think I'm the one typing this post? I'm not here).

[Edit: if I were here, I'd point out that 8*3=6*4 and what a nice skipping-and-crossing post # it is. And how fitting it is, with all my skipping in b.org lately. But I'm not, so I won't.]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

a couple more blows to the head, and it'll be all smoothed out.

There's the thing -- I've had five or six concussions. None of them in the martial arts, and most of them preceded me starting the martial arts.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have to say, I'm just as glad to not have much deadly weather where I live.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Fuckety fuck fuck fuck!

I just read in lj that one of my dance group friends got attacked(bashed, more likely) in his own neighborhood. Glenn is a nice guy who happens to prefer wearing skirts/dresses and high heels. He went out of his house last night to investigate some noises and a group of assholes pulled up in their car(they were not from his neighborhood) and attacked him.(stole the flash from his camera, to add insult to injury) Fucking bastards...

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh geez, Sheryl, that's terrible. The fear of anything different leads to such truly horrible behavior sometimes.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What Robin said.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, Sheryl, that's awful! What is wrong with people?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know, I have a really lovely day planned. I am going to have brunch with Beth B and Matt at their coffee shop, which promises to feature good food and good company. After brunch I am heading to the San Leandro Costco to see if they have the printer I want (the Redwood City Costco did not). After buying the printer, some burnable CDs, and possibly a 45 pound bag of M&Ms, I'll drive to Oakland, to meet up with Sparky1 to see the BabyPenguin Movie. I'm told there may also be ice cream afterwards.

That sounds like a lot, but it is all leisurely paced, and I'll still have time to do some house stuff this afternoon.

Yay.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

That sounds blissful, every second of it.

After the movie, you could always go for some gelato.

Today so far is coffee, Roger Rabbit in the living room, church a bit later (I'm feeling bad and lazy, but I'm also scheduled to be a reader), and then possibly taking my friend Charlotte and her son ice-skating at Yerba Buena while Hec putters about here and Emmett visits with the neighbor's son and dog. At some point before the end of the day there will also be laundry, or we are all doooomed.

It's not bad, but I must admit it's no Beth'n'Matt/Sparky1/penguin movie/ice cream. You totally win!
