Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

In terms of tall ships,

I saw the Constellation today! OK, that's all I have.

In irksome news, just got email from coworker who couldn't do a task for me because...the permissions on the site wouldn't allow overwrite. Simple solution: make new files, temporarily direct people to that. A no brainer. But did he do that? NO. I hate it when people don't even try to think the least bit creatively.

After clicking that, I'm doubly glad it's not the first Katie who came to mind.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

That's so cool, Kristin!

There's a tall ships festival in Tacoma 7/4 weekend. I have to remember to go. Hopefully I'll get to play with Revolutionary War reenactors' muskets that same weekend.

Should be a lovely turn-of-the-19th century experience--close as I can get to having the TARDIS.

The status is NOT quo.

I have a huge weakness for the tall ships. If you get a vacation opportunity, you should come to Sailfest in New London, CT in July! It's a lot of fun, and always a huge gathering of these gorgeous ships. I'm very happy that I'm not going to miss it this year(because of the move, I though I was going to).

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

For Jesse, from way back...

Also, who's the guy doing the voiceover in the Budweiser ad? He's so familiar, and I can't figure it out.

George Clooney.

Also, I love the NYT for this

Mr. Cruise has been the subject of speculation in the media over possible long-term damage to his career with his extremely enthusiastic behavior on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" last month

Extremely enthusiastic = crazy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Defamer mentioned Katie fired her manager (use bugmenot for login info).
