move out and draw fire

Reston Towne Center, I'm guessing.

We just took advantage of having the landlord's keys to run soundchecks to find out what they can hear from our apartment, how loud we can turn the stereo up, etc. Since we can hear their cat meowing, we've been sneaking around in stocking feet. Interesting practical lesson in concrete structures - the person in our apartment could hear the person in their apartment clearly, but not vice versa.

Of course, when I lived in LA I could hear my neighbor typing, so it's not as bad as earthquake-safe construction.

What is even happening?

You thought "CUBBIES"!!!

Hee. Nope. That would have been okay (at least until post-season).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Slept way too late, after staying up way too late. Whoops.

So I used the "add images" thing instead which grabbed them off my hard drive.

OK, I thought that was true, because I could have sworn I had pictures on my ad, and I know I have no webspace. But then the FAQ threw me off. So that's good.

I would like to go surfing. Alas.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Reston, my home town! Where is the fest?

At Reston Town Center, like Raquel said. Funny thing is, I didn't even know about this until I got the e-mail from the Lizards' list saying they would be there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sue, that's a great page!

I meant to say "A present for one's lover, or, of course, surfing."

It was implied.

Okay, surfing's done. I have time for lounging, a bagel (sadly, no croissant) and a shower, and then it's off to krav.

I'm eating a bagel for lunch.

So this morning, I'm drying my hair and thinking I am way overdue for a dye job. And what should I find but a smattering of white hairs. How...timely.

Gotta finish eating and go see about getting passport pictures made. I get to have this next one until I'm 40! Hopefully I won't find this one as dorky in a decade as I do my old ones.

Also need to do some birthday shopping for officemate and a friend. And then maybe mexican takeout. Maybe rellenos or pupusas (isn't that more central american?) or gorditas or stewed pork or something with mole or....

When exactly did Madonna become "the Queen of Rock & Roll?"

I feel I missed a memo.

Thrive to spite them

Someone missed the memo. Madonna was never rock and roll.

sara, your birthday is either today or tomorrow, isn't it? My god, you're younger than my little sister.

::shivers::

Congratulations, though!

I just watched Kitchen Confidential. I like it. It's full of charisma. NB's not got a lot to do in the pilot, though.
