The pause is the whole thing, really. The hump. Of pricing, photographing. Well, not the whole thing. The interaction doesn't bother me, and even if it did, I only get that if I'm lucky.
I'm not sure where I got this link, so if it was here, I apologise -- but it's fascinating stuff about fascinating women, most of whom I've never heard of. Morbidly glamourous.

Pricing, just search for what you're trying to sell, and then see what other people are asking. Or make up a number and put OBO and see what happens. Or charge 1/2 to 1/3 of the price for the thing new, assuming it's regular used stuff and not collectible or anything. You have a digital camera, right?
