Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I freecycled today! Very exciting. My extra monitor's gone, which means the only non-banker's box left in my apartment is under the bed. No more visible cardboard.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay!

What is freecycling?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

OMG, he's so big! And cute.

Freecycling is a network of Yahoo groups for giving stuff you don't want away. They're set up by locale. Couple e-mails and a phone call, left the monitor on my front step, and boom! Gone to a guy who is upgrading from 13".

I'm obsessed with the craigslist free stuff section, but can never really get anything good (aside from haircuts!) due to being carless. It actually occurred to me to think, when some friends got a car recently, that OMG! now they can get free furniture and whatnot. I am goofy.
