Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Possums are marsupials, and thus clearly unnatural.

move out and draw fire

Maybe this is useful only as a reminder that Judith Miller is in jail while Robert Novak continues to walk the earth as a free man

Eh. Miller was ordered to take the fall for Rove. If she didn't go to jail for a bit she'd never work again. I personally think she should be jailed just for all the propaganda about the WMDs that were in Iraq.

Possums are WAY cuter than that dog.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

London peeps update: Tom's friends P and S are fine, we got email confirmation this morning.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yay Nora (and Tom, natch)!

I thought I'd remembered Rescue Me as being fun at some points.

Did you get to the final revelation about Sully yet? It made ME laugh, at least.

Ann, that's a ferret.

ita, did your family get through Dennis ok?

And I certainly even adore Hayden more when he is all femme.

With a vaguely late-'60s Julie Andrews vibe, no less.

I personally think she should be jailed just for all the propaganda about the WMDs that were in Iraq.

I feel guilty for agreeing with that sentiment.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks for asking, Fred -- they're fine.

Art Crawl!!!

Frank -- that made me laugh too. (And whatever happened to Tommy's ghost-seeing ? Did the drinking obliterate the ghosts ?)

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

But to me, there's a difference between Velvet Goldmine androgyny, gender bending, smoldery Ewan-in-eyeliner femme, and drag.

Yeah. For me, I'm nsm attracted to full drag, but I like the first three things you listed. It also depends on the man and the skirt, and even more how the man is wearing the skirt.

Also? Gronk-diddly-onk.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm TiVoing it (because of Jessica, not the skirts)

Heh. I'm ALL about the men in skirts. (Unless you didn't mean me, in which case never mind.)

Frank, I felt it was way too telegraphed to be funny. I spent half an hour waiting for the shoe to drop.

I like Wesley Snipes in drag, because it's conflicting gender extremes. Brad in drag does the same thing. I think Eddie Izzard is nummy too.
