I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

we are both at work.

Speaking of, I think I shall do some. Everything's probably OK with the specific people I'm thinking of. Though, you know, not so much for lots of others.

What is even happening?

We don't know where Tom's father or his best friends are.

{{{Nora}}}

Per my friends in England, phone service has been horribly affected, so it might be a while 'til you hear. Good thoughts and prayers for them and you both.

Yeah, in mine, as well. I'm glad you heard from her, ita. Also, I hope everything in Jamaica is OK.

Nora, I hope that trying to concentrate on something - like work - will make you feel a bit better.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Woke up to the news this morning, and watched CNN groggily. I've been in King's Cross Station, and Edgeware. Poor city, and also, what a mess.

I liked political bombers a lot more when they called in advance and let everybody evacuate.

We're attempting to email. Tom is of the opinion that his friends are likely displaced (due to the whole Underground being shut down) are in the pub, waiting to go home.

Yes. This. You could admire the method somewhat, regardless of sympathy for the cause.

It's the most likely, as well as the most soothing thought.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm taking a little time off, so posting from home.

Max is on the monitor, napping.

Would try photography, but he's still embarrassed about his recent haircut.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesus. What a mess. Just... everything.

In completely unimportant non-news, yes, Lori, Homer's ear is always like that. He apparently had a hematoma pre-me, and the old owners didn't keep the little splint on his ear long enough for it to heal. He actually still had a stitch in there when I got him. Stupid non-me owners.
