It would be a little Yay-er if people knew the subject they were going to teach, I think.

(Actually I've been nervous about the Math Methods course I have to take in fall because I wasn't a math major and don't want to be all glaringly ignorant so I'm secretly glad there are other people going into teaching math who know less than I do. But shh.)
