then your soul that you outran will catch up and find you and you'll be okay.
This is kind of how William Gibson described jet lag in Pattern Recognition. I thought it was very apt.

Is there anyone around that can tell me -- if I swap sour cream for yoghurt in a recipe, will one to one volumes be okay for the leavening?
It should be about the same, ita, except that you might want to throw in an additional pinch of baking soda.
I always sub yogurt/sour cream 1:1, never noticed any problems.
Either my neighbors are setting off fireworks, or they're jumping on the world's biggest sheet of bubble wrap...
I sub 1/1 but then usually in nonbaking things so I am not to be trusted.
Hugh O'Conor is nummy. How did I never notice him before?
jumping on the world's biggest sheet of bubble wrap...This sounds like a lot of fun...
Help! How many medium-sized zucchini are in a pound?
About 3, I'd guess?
Thanks! Banana bread is on. I'm so not leaving the house today. It's become a thing.
TiVo snagged Ebert & Roeper for me -- has Ebert had health problems? His voice sounds slurred, compared to my memory.
My bug saga is not over. I hadn't heard it move all day, so I figured it's dead! Which was good because I forgot to get bug killer at the grocery store.
About half hour ago I hear this weird noise, doesn't sound like the cat's eating or water dripping. I look.
It's the bug trying to escape his plastic prison. So I went to CVS and picked up my medicine and some Raid and came home and sprayed the area down. I can't see it very well, and I'm not anxious to get up close and personal with Mr. Creepy Bug. I hope the sounds I hear are death throes.

Slacker!
I left the house. Sure, it was only to go to the store to get junk food (and Pam spray) (that was for Kat), but still, I did leave.
So not going out again though.
