Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

I AM NOT YOUR MONKEY.

Nilly are you feeling better?

The status is NOT quo.

Kat, I had a migraine today that knocked me out for most of the day, so I basically slept through the entire morning, afternoon, and evening with a couple of dog-walking breaks.

I started my "day" after 7PM; hence, insomnia.

Kristin, when are you supposed to move? [Edit: oh, I do hope you feel better now!]

Kat, thanks for asking, and yes, I do. I even managed to TA for 7 hours straight yesterday (and was quite proud of me). How are you doing? Do you teach during the summer?

then it makes sense that you're awake. I SHOULD be asleep, as should all the people at my house because we have an early airport run tomorrow.

Oooooohhhhhh... That's what we should be chapeauing for... whoever is it has to go to LAX.

I'm doing good, Nilly. Thanks.

I'm teaching a writing course for (I just did the math) 4 weeks. But only 15 days, which is good. In the AMs, I teach incoming fourth graders (so they are about nine years old) and incoming seventh graders in the afternoon. I'm learning so much from them.

The status is NOT quo.

Nilly, I'm doing okay, but hectic. I move fully when I drive across the country the last week of July, but I have one more trip out and back before then to finish painting my new place. And yes, I'll be flying in and out of LAX for that, alas.

Nope, not teaching right now. I got out June 23rd and start at my new school around August 22nd.

Now I want to be it. But, um, that's not the way you meant it, right?
