Jesus. I would be freaking out SO HARD

We all were. I mean, jeeze the guy's in the hospital and his check is like $500 instead of $1000. The worse part was that this poor guy was in a room with a crazy old guy who hit him a bunch of times in the face with a heart monitor! Poor guy. It's been a crazy rollercoaster. Really, you can't make this stuff up!

Oh, and to finish off my workday tale of woe, at like 4:45, when my boss was giving me extensive edits on 10 letters, I looked at him and said, "Do you need me to stay to finish these tonight?" He said, "Oh. No, I have to leave at 5. Those can wait." THANK GOODNESS.

I know! It was insane! That's the kind of luck this poor guy has though. It took 2 nurses to pull the crazy, old guy off of him. The cops listed it as a "hate" crime too. The guy kept saying "you're one of those" at him. But my cow-orker is white and so was the crazy guy, so it was very strange. The worst part, this hospital is rated in the top 10 in the nation!

A co-worker came over with his regular LotR picture delivery, and the chick in the cube over was chewing, mouth open, so loudly that we had to stop talking until she was done her snack.

People.

I'm about to go all Howard Hughes about body noises. Grunting, belching, farting, chewing -- these are not work sorts of noises, not in my line of business. The noises that sound like sex moans? Also not helping.

I just don't get how people don't know they're making such loud noises, or how they can not understand/care it's distracting ...
