Now there's coleslaw juice in my mashed potatos.

The diet that I'm on right now occasionally offers a kickass meatloaf with sides of creamed corn and barely-cooked cabbage (yum!), and I love to mix the two of them together, since it gives the cabbage some flavor and moisture, and the corn some texture. Oh, and that meal also has some great garlic mashed potatoes. Probably my favorite meal that the company offers, and I only get it once every six weeks.

barely-cooked cabbage

I use that a lot in lieu of rice, noodles or whatever. It's easier.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Shall we have them killed, tommyrot?

Eh... what the hell!

Killing people on a whim is so much fun....

It's a good way to sop up gravy and other foods with liquid.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm going to ignore tommyrot's First World problems for a second to say that I just discovered I'm three degrees of separation from RuPaul.

If I'm figuring it right, I'm only two degrees of separation from RuPaul. He crashed with several people I know, back when he lived in Atlanta and was broke.

move out and draw fire

Which means Ginger and I are...5 degrees!

Or, you know, 1.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Coke has some sort of secret ingreient, though. Right?

Besides the cocaine?

I need to try this Coke Zero. I thought it was just Diet Coke only TUFF.

I had to explain broccoli slaw to my mother the other day. I was stunned she'd never noticed it in the grocery store, because I know they have it in her big fancy grocery store!

I use it in stir fries for CRUNCH since I can never be bothered to go buy water chestnuts for that purpose.
