I saw smimilar cordiroy sneakers at Payless last night. I almost bought them and then remembered I'm trying to save money, so I walked away.

I like those shoes a lot, ita, but only in that color.

Very right indeed. I will not buy more shoes until I have a storage solution for the shoes I already own. Except for these, because I love tehm and they are on sale.

I get the Sunday NYTimes just so I can do teh crossword puzzle every week. It's a sickness. Fortunately, DH actually reads the paper to somewhat redeem me.

I've got a couple pairs shaped like that. Except they are more converse-y decorated. White rubber over the toe and white piping around the opening. I have them in black and red canvas. Which reminds me, I need to get black ribbon for the laces of the red ones. The black ones have red ribbon bows.

I may just have to get some of those too.

I need to do more crossword puzzles. I used to do them while I watched tv, but now I play on the computer. I suppose I could do crosswords on the computer.

So, my boss just asked if I had anything for him to review while he heads out for meetings. I get in at 10. It's now 10:10. Um, no. I don't have anything new for you yet.

And now I'm slightly sympathetic towards Annoying Boss, since I just learned the Dean is going on vacation for three weeks tomorrow. So his more-frantic-than-usual makes a little sense.

Those shoes are fabulous, -t. I'm just not a fabulous shoe person.

I love shoes like that. Unfortunately, the pointy toe is a nogo for me.
