Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

I want a sick day!

Okay. take one.

implies BS consensus,

@@ IMPLIED BULLSHIT CONSENSUS! Why not just say, "I WANT IT THIS WAY SO I'M GOING TO PRETEND EVERYONE AGREES WITH ME!" How could it be implied and consensus?

your corn chowder is screwed up because he tried to be smartypants with me and the spirits don't like that.

Who is he and why is the mysterious he fucking with my corn chowder. And just you watch it missy or you'll never have corn chowder!

Someone check sarameg; I think she's possessed.

Corn chowder is male?

I'll warn you all, msbelle pinches cheeks.

Devi is stalking around with a fuschia mouse in her mouth. This makes me laugh.

Jesse, go for modal. msbelle preached the knit shit at me and I don't like knit materials for sheets, BUT they have modal not-knit and it is AWESOME. It's like old, well worn soft sheets but NEW. Silky and breathable and soft. Bloodbath had full sets for $60. More than I've ever spent on sheets in my life, but they are really nice. And such pretty colors. I've decided deep purple, crimson and dark green look sumptuous, not unmatchy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ladies, ladies, you're all pretty.

Mmm, I love jewel tones together. And I am increasingly intrigued by modal.

Okay. take one.

But I have a meeting tomorrow. And I just took a sick day from my Thursday job. And I have a meeting Friday! BAH.

If this is how "the nicest" behaves, a couple billion people must have been Raptured while I was driving home from work. How did the disc jockeys fail to inform me?!?

Is your Wednesday job the same as your Thursday job? Cause if not, you totally can take a sick day tomorrow.

I have taken a sick day every day this week, though I went to work a different job and therefore do not know if that counts. Or if I'll get paid for my sick days.

Not the same job. And I'm new, not quitting like you!!

I'm not quitting. Just transferring. It's different. at least in my head and on my paycheck.

>Is 300 thread count a lot?

300 is good. But we were talking about thread count inflation on another board. A lot of manufacturers are probably lying. When they are promising you 1200 tpi, they're definitely lying.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am usually right, ijs. Do I want improperly made corn chowder? I cannot say why the spirit does things, I just know that he/she does.

Matt, I'm being nice. not nice people would lie.

I only pinch cheeks that so clearly want to be pinched.

All these lucky quitting and new people.

Jesse, also known as beech, if the labels are different. It wrinkles like hell out of the dryer, but doesn't leave face-wrinkles, IYKWIM.

OK, everyone should watch New Heros: orphanage in Zambia, freeing slaves in India, Delancey St, blindness abatement in India, agriculture irrigation in Kenya and who knows what else. Time to give more to FINCA or whatever it is called, since I suck as a social worker.
