Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

How they designed and built the Batmobile(s): [link]

Crowley also didn't want to use any digital effects in scenes involving the car. Even the best computerized visual effects wouldn't have the gritty, realistic look he wanted, he said. That meant the car had to be fast and be fairly maneuverable.

...

The four fully driveable Batmobiles the crew built are powered by a 340-horsepower General Motors V8 engine. Despite its tank-like appearance, the car is capable of going from zero to sixty miles an hour in 5.3 seconds, said Crowley.

Wow.

Yep. That was my reaction when I discovered I could order the Best Fudge on Earth online.

You're welcome, -t. If only I could download bricks of fudge through my computer it would truely be a golden age. And I wouldn't be able to fit my laptop on my lap anymore. But every advance has a cost.

Crowley designed the Batmobile? Of course he did! And I'll bet he took Aziraphale for a feather-raising spin, too.

And had bullet-hole windshield decals all over it.

What is even happening?

Hey. Didn't we used to have someone here who worked for the ASPCA or similar, supervising film sets, to ensure animals were treated humanely? Who was that?

What is even happening?

I don't remember posting with her, but I remember her leaving the job (or getting laid off). It might have happened during my lurker days. I can't even remember why I was wondering, now. I think it came up elsewhere (animal on-set treatment) and I thought, "Oh, I can ask...darn. Who was that?"
