Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Don't give away the answer right before the question!

This is why you're the TA and I am the Not!TA.

I would so love to see a finger monkey in a teeny tiny fez!

ION, vacations are great. I was rather more darkish than anticipated. Who knew that one person I visited would have a broken computer, another no internet, and the third an iMac running 9.2 and dial-up. Still, the vacation was great, the train was fun, and I got to meet Seattlistas! The grown-ups were great, and the kids adorable. Buffistas are the best people.

Welcome back, libkitty.

Perkins, maybe you get the days jumbled because you're following the timezones too closely?

You may just be right, Nilly.

Or maybe I'm just bored.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Not that bored though

Nicole owes me a drink! I will drink my away around the globe, and do doubles at the International Dateline.

It was 4 y.o. Emmett's most plaintive cry: "I just want a finger monkey!"

He could not understand why this would be an issue. And I can't blame him. They are tiny.

Thanks Nilly! Also, Sparky, if you see this. Sorry I missed you before the trip.

eta: Emmett is one smart kid. I had never heard of finger monkeys, but they are just perfect.

OK, I have to go solve my students' exam and time myself to know if it's not too long for them. As the exam doesn't include either finger monkeys or timezones, I don't think I can post throught it. Night, y'all!

Are you ready to be strong?

Good night, Nilly! (And everybody.)
