this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

If it turns out I got this link from here, I apologize for my swiss-cheese-brain.

I posted it here earlier today, but I can't criticize your swiss-cheese-brain, as I am total fuzzy-brain today.

they were just talking about skyline chili. sadly, I did not see Steph in any of pictures...

You may have seen other Buffistas, as I take visiting Buffistas there every chance I get.

was that the bad thing the co-worker did?

For some reason, it evokes annoyance in me. I'm thinking maybe someone annoying used it frequently in my past. Maybe my college roommate, who wasn't annoying per se, just had some tics that made me a little insane.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ita, you're a little less frat-boy-ish than the coworker. And less of a graduate student as well.

Is he from Long Island or New Jersey? Would he hear "Livin' on a Prayer" and sing along?

I think no, not that kind of cheese. I don't know where he's from, actually.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Back when Shaq was just joining the NBA, I heard him use the term, and it just stuck with me. Of course, my entire rack of colloquialisms sound freakish and out of character, so really, what's that got going against it that "What up dog?" or "Inshallah" doesn't?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Did I forget this?

Happy birthday, JZ!

"What up, dog?" can only be used ironically now, I'm afraid. Sorry if you didn't get that memo.

Edit: Oh, and for poor Cheesy Coworker, it's not the using it ever working against him so much as the using it every day.

information libertarian

Could someone explain the meaning and/or context of calling someone "brah"? I'm afraid I'm just thinking of feminine undergarments. Is it meant to be like "bro"?

Completely unrelatedly, happy birthday to JZ!
