"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It's never too long, Vortex. You've never gotten an out-of-the-blue call from a guy six months later?

yeah, but I always thought "if I was so freaking great, why did it take you 6 months to call". :)

Vortex, I've watched both Closer eps. I figured out the first one right away, and didn't get the second until she revealed it. I do find it too precious, with whatsername squinting and trying to look all frumpy, and winning every battle (but not the respect) in the squad room.

that's it exactly. although I totally loved her friend calling her out when she was complaining about the women in the husband's life.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It was a very interesting pilot (I think if you search Minearverse 3 you'll find discussion of it).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Lordy, I'd love to see Global Frequency get picked up somewhere. It can't be that expensive since it doesn't have the super fancy sets.

I'd love it more if I wasn't so sure he was totally in love with her and her non-LA freshness.

well, CLEARLY, but I still liked it. I think that I liked that he was willing to call her out in spite of that.

I probably took too much pleasure in her being called out. I think I'm wishing for all the characters on the show to fall, except for the MBA and FBI guys.

I have found something I'd throw my second bed over for. I want it badly.

Burrell! Right before I have to run out, I *finally* get to post with you to congratulate you on the birth of your son! At least I managed to do it before he went to school.

[Edited because I just can't spell today]

My mother is grumbling now, and she doesn't know why. She'd be delighted if I ever talked about a guy within five years of my age. She's relieved if I talk about a guy who's legal to drink in the US.
