You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hi Nilly, how's things? Sorry to hear you've been sick.

I was so sick I couldn't even hold down the water.

Oh, you poor thing. I know it's in the past and everything, but still.

crushed ice (they ground it up in a blender or ice crusher), which stayed down

I usually prefer my water as cold as possible (I love that temperature in which water is almost ice, but still not solid. It's like it has a completely different texture then), so maybe that helped, too, even if I didn't know it.

Cindy, are your children on vacation now?

vw! I just thought that *I* want to e-mail you - I have no idea how the new job is treating you.

Hey, billytea! It was a virus. I'm not sure I'd rather face a giant spider or something like that, but then at least it would give me more interesting answers for you. How are you doing?

[Edited because my post # is two consecutive numbers, made of three consecutive digits, each starting with four.]

It's treating me well. They absolutely love me. It's been an adjustment to work and do school, but I'm hanging in there.

(had to post and run, but back now)

Hi Nilly! Hope you feel more better soon.

vw, that's just so cool about your job.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I should steer clear of vomiting stories.

Nilly, continue getting better!

Happy Birthday, JZ!!!!

Well, duh. Um, I mean, that's really good to read! I hope you love them back, because you deserve to work with people you like.

You're doing a summer semester, or did the former one not finish yet?

Hi, Raquel! Hi, Cashmere!

I'm doing pretty well. I've put my profile up on a couple of dating sites, though nothing's really come of it yet. I've also signed up for a speed dating evening in a couple of weeks time.

Thanks!

I'm in summer session. We have two summer sessions. I'm taking one class in each. The sessions are only 6 weeks long, so they're pretty intense.

I hope you love them back, because you deserve to work with people you like.

I do. And I love the kids that I'm working with. It's really a great job.

Do let us know how this goes! I can't wait to hear about the experience through the billytea perspective.

Well, I guess that for you, putting yourself there is something, whether there are actual dating results from it (yet!) or not, in a way.

I've also signed up for a speed dating evening in a couple of weeks time.

I've never done anything like that. I mean, the concept makes perfect sense - why have a long annoying blind date, when you can tell after 5 minutes that it's not going to work out - but I'm so slow on everything of this sort, I can never honestly sign myself up for something that has the word "speed" in it.

It's really a great job.

That is absolutely wonderful to read. I hope your school schedule works OK with the work one, too.

[Edit: my post # is like the consecutive digits mix themselves up to have dates with the ones that aren't usually next to them. Math romance.]
