throwing stuff out is oddly liberating once you get in the middle of it.

I don't think I am gonna go with pink. I am leaning more towards a boringish but comfortable ensemble that is businessy, but not a suit. It is supposed to be high 80s tomorrow with rain, so I have to factor that in with both stickiness and wetness factors.

Hivemind:

Is it whisky that's Scottish and whiskey that's Irish or the other way round? I never can remember.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't think it's supposed to rain tomorrow.

I can't believe I am not doing laundry. But I just can't bear it. I can do a load after work tomorrow, I guess. Man, I hate doing laundry.

Susan, Irish (and American) get the e. Except, apparently, for Maker's Mark.

you're right. NY1 just told me no rain tomorrow just high 80s and humid, then rain maybe the rest of the week. hmm, so maybe I do wear silk or white tomorrow.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

According to ForecastFox, tomorrow's the only day next week we won't be having a thunderstorm. It's supposed to be in the high 80's, and unbearably humid instead. YAY.

I tried dress shopping today. Amazing LACK of dresses in the department stores. Also, with all the breast implanting going on these days, I wonder where those people shop. Oh yeah. Places I can't afford. Argh. I'm probably a 12/14 on the bottom half and 16+ on top and the net result is not pretty. Sigh. Well, I have another month or so.

Have fun tomorrow, msbelle. I'd go for maximum comfort both physically and mentally.

In the 3 hours I was gone,, my apartment jumped from 75 to 80. I think the compressor must not have cut in at one point. It's working now but....

Can I just hand in my grownup card? I'm really tired of being one.

well, I only plan to be outside for the walks to and from the subway tomorrow. Those should be about 7:45 and 6:15, so not the hottest parts of the day.

I am leaning strongly towards a grey suit with a black pima cotton tee, and ditching the jacket for the walks. Because I am not quite right about clothes, I am laying out the full week, trying to make sure I don't duplicate looks or colors too much. me=teensy bit anal wrt to clothes.
