Is there actual bacon involved in that alarm? Because if I got woken up by the smell of bacon and no bacon was available, someone would get hurt.

Sadly that alarm would result in me waking hours late to an apartment reeking of burned bacon.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Speaking of Wimbledon, that Andreev guy sure makes sex-like noises when he plays. How ... distracting.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Back from dog training class, where I SUCKED. Layla was in a very antsy mood and at one point got completely out of control and actually growled at me (in play) and it was bad bad bad. The teacher pointed me out in front of the entire group and said "she needs training more than her dog." Bleagh. He didn't say it in a mean way but he was right. Like all Buffistas, I do not like doing things badly. Our fault, though, we did not practice most of the commands all week, so no wonder she didn't do them well.

The teacher pointed me out in front of the entire group and said "she needs training more than her dog."

Regardless of the accuracy, my response to this would have been "Do you want my home address to send the refund to, or would you prefer to take care of it right here in cash?"
