I too want to go to Japan. Or Maui. Or pretty much anywhere. I've been fantasizing about a nice cruise. Ahh, a real vacation! Not this year.
It's a gorgeous day here. It's probably hot as hell in town, but out here next to the ocean, there is usually a nice breeze that lowers the temp a good ten or fifteen degrees. We're going to Boothbay Harbor today to compete with the tourists for a glimpse of some neat old ships.

Woah, that is weird! Back in the day, I was the only Buffista north of Boston. Since I've gone away, other New Englanders have come onboard! Yay! I'll be scanning the crowds today, looking for someone who looks like a possible Buffista. Maybe I'll get really brave and start asking strangers if they are a Buffista. If they say yes, they'd better remember the secret handshake! :)
Hey, to narrow my search a bit, is Sparky1 male or female? If I have that bit of information, I'm sure we'll recognize each other instantly. Buffista energies and all that. ;)
