Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

You might get really sleepy, or have your heart race (or BOTH, she adds cheerily). Probably nothing more dire. Drink a lot of water.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks Robin!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Perkins, not very likely, I don't think. A lot of allergy meds can cause mild jitteriness (or zonkedness) or heart palpitations, which sound scary and feel icky but are basically benign and will go away as the meds work their way out of your system.

eta: Robin beat me to it, but I feel all validated by having said what she said. Because a scrappy x-post is always validating.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

So if someone accidentally took 2 claratin D a few hours apart, how likely would they be to die or otherwise have unpleasant things happen?

Your head should have already burst into flame....

No -- you'll be fine. Like Robin said, drink a lot of water. Lay off the caffeine. You'll probably have a very very very dry nose/sinuses/etc.

Was it the 24-hour claritin D, or the 12-hour?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cool, I can do all that, except for maybe the caffeine thing, since I already had a venti this morning.

eta: the 12 hour Claratin D.

Oh, I just meant no *more* caffeine.

Also, two 12-hour pills are way better than two 24-hour pills. Because two 12s equals one 24; and (follow the logic here) the 24-hour is a safe dosage (by virtue of the fact that it's available to consumers).

So, you're good. And probably allergy-free.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Am I crazy that I figure doubling up any OTC drug one time is pretty much OK? Am I going to wake up dead one of these days?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Am I going to wake up dead one of these days?

You'll probably just wake up in a coma.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think Perkins should email her extra 12-hours of allergy free-ness to me. I have no Claratin at my desk, and much dust.

I could use the sleep.
