Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Perkins, all it takes is once for a girl to get a reputation. I'm just sayin'....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My door was closed.

Mostly.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I did not know that "readier" was a word. I've always used "more ready."

Is this a new thing? Is everyone else familiar with "readier"?

Huh.

Italy Judge Orders Arrest of 13 CIA Agents

ROME (AP) -- An Italian judge has ordered the arrest of 13 CIA agents for allegedly helping deport an imam to Egypt as part of U.S. anti-terrorism efforts, an Italian official familiar with the investigation said Friday.

....

Prosecutors believe the agents seized Omar as part of the CIA's ''extraordinary rendition'' program, in which terror suspects are transferred to third countries without court approval, according to reports Friday in newspapers Corriere della Sera and Il Giorno.

It'll be interesting if the arrests actually happen. My guess is that those agents won't set foot in Italy again.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I've got what I think is an undergrad telling me that the formula for coordinate conversion between hms/dms and decimal degrees used EVERYWHERE ON OUR PROFESSIONAL SITE is wrong. Um. Anyone know of a good site to show her she is wrong like a wrong thing? I can't google fershit today.

I'd suggest Hil's email.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've sat through a conference call in the office with no pants on.

Well, that I do a lot.

I might have been wearing a skirt or dress at the time, but why play with details?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That doesn't count, at all.

I guess I'm just not as freaky as you, then.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I've never taken my pants off at work. I've gone commando to work (actually, am commando right now -- MUST DO LAUNDRY) and one I had to wiggle into my car through an open window, and the wind blew my skirt up, exposing my panties and garters clad ass to anyone in the staff parking lot for a good 45 seconds while I wiggled and cussed.

But never taken my clothes off at work.

Huh.

I have talked to a lot of potential employers on the phone butt-naked, though.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I work in an open-plan office. Sadly, this requires the wearing of pants at all times.
