This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

So, any linguisting route between "Druze" and "Jerusalem"?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

It's self-evaluation time. I need help. I can't figure out what to put down as my last "Opportunity for Improvement" without making me sound incompetent or lazy. I've already listed continuing education on acquisition and ethics laws, and improving my organizational skills.

Somebody tell me something I suck only a little bit at? Please?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hi Hil!

Good question Trudy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Somebody tell me something I suck only a little bit at? Please?

You could be a little more of a perfectionist?

You worry too much about your job?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You could go EVEN FURTHER above and beyond what you've already been doing.

Hee. I guess I'm that transparent.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Everybody says they procrastinate too much. It's a safe choice.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I suppose "Overcoming urges to gruesomely slaughter higher-ups who subject me to awkward self-reviews" wouldn't fly too well, would it?

What is even happening?

I'm exhausted. Today I went on about 1/10 of a hike (they told me it was an easy hike. After several hundred feet straight down, I realized I couldn't do it, and then had to climb that several hundred feet straight up to get back), and ate Druze food and talked to some Druze people and learned about Druze culture (or, at least, the version of it they tell to the tourists) and then came to Jerusalem.

Oh! I just read about the Druze a couple of months ago.

How was your flight, Hil? Where are you staying? Are you having a good (if exhausting) time?
