Xander: Am I right, Giles? Giles: I'm almost certain you're not. Though, to be fair, I haven't been listening.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I got one of those for my MiL for her last birthday. She still claims she can't open wine bottles. it's beyond my understanding.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

are so!

I just went outside and ran errands. What lovely day. Bright and Sunny, but not too hot.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I chose today as my errand-running day due to its lovliness!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Today is not as hot as yesterday, and that makes me sad. On the up side, I'm about to leave for lunch preceding a meeting that will keep me out of the office for the rest of the afternoon, and might even result in me getting home in time for a) bonus sleep or b) bonus krav.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Good choice/bad choice was a big part of how I was raised, but it was more of a discussion approach than a buzz word at the end of a phone call.

It worked well with my campers too. You don't just DO STUFF, you make choices. Also, "there are two kinds of rules, rules to be nice and rules to be safe. Which kind do you think this is?" was pretty effective too.

They're both superior to "because that's the rule" and "because I said so"

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

"Mom, I chose the 20 year single malt over the Jack Daniels. Admit it--that was an excellent choice!"

Thing is? They're not wrong.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hi. I'm in Jerusalem. (I got online to check my email, then realized that they charge for ten minutes even if you only use two, so I'm using up my remaining eight minutes.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.
