Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I just got 2 checks in the mail from a "Mortgage Service Center"

It's possible it's the escrow from the mortgage you had before your refi. I got a couple of checks back when I did my refi. (Mortgage Service Center held my old mortgage, having bought it from my original lender.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kenya! When are you going?

Mid-September.

I read to quickly and this came into my head as shorts and I was all confused.

I will probably need shorts. Guh. Like, Bermuda shorts, which I hate.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse go see Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.

Eh. It has little appeal for me. I guess what I really need to do is laundry, which I was supposed to do yesterday.

msbelle -- take the money and run.

Jesse, even though it seemingly has little appeal, it's actually a good story and not overly gooey or goopey or goobery.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Kenya is where my FiL got malaria, they've got a different strain there than most places. So be careful about that.

I used to go to a theater that didn't even advertise what movies it was showing, just had FREE AIR CONDITIONING on the marquee.

Kat, you're nuts. Oh, speaking of which, I have the cards ready to mail you, I just have to figure out how much postage I need.
