What is even happening?

I guess I can't quite be devil's advocate here
No, because the Romanian Priest beat you to it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

But if you're possessed, aren't you sort of the innocent victim? It's sorta' like once someone becomes a vampire - we don't really blame them for what the vampire did.

Anyway, I think the priest thougth he was freeing her from evil. And maybe automatic state-of-sin-resetting happens when one is crucified for demonic possession....

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Twitch.

Poor nun.

Hmm. We had Chipolte today. I should see if the receipt is still in the bag.

Shoe shopping is now officially tilting at windmills.

Broke down. Went to the Birk store. Found a pair that didn't totally suck. Asked to try them in a black 36. (My Birks size remains the same, I was cheered to find.) Store has none in black in 36. In fact, in the whole store, the only sandal in black in a 36 was a thong, and thongs are painful bad wrongness. Asked to see another non-Birk (but Birk spin off) sandal. None in my size in stock. Girl called other store. Other store had nothing in black in 36. Girl tries to go online to check, but the site's being a bitch.

Calls, finds a human.

None in stock, but some will at least be shipping in a few days. So I'm still without shoes that don't hurt, but at least I have a pair on order. Oy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She didn't die in a state of sin:

"God has performed a miracle for her, finally Irina is delivered from evil,"

Wow, that priest is pretty good at figuring out what God has done and what He wants.

Hey, that's his job!

Yeah, but that's the nutjob that killed her. Were she actually possessed, I'm not so sure he's right, and I'm not so sure he even thinks he's right, because reportedly, he expects to be excommunicated.

I know -- it's his POV I've been talking from all this time.

You didn't think it was mine, did you?

If Tom Monaghan gets CatholicVille, I say we start construction on the walled province of Buffistany.

Also, I've been fucking freezing for four hours. Fuck this shit. I'm going home to watch Dr. Who and stew in my irritation.
