I seen you without your clothes on before. Never thought I'd see you naked.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Isn't the vapors, gas?

You'd think. The vapors included fatigue and a tendency to faint at the drop of a plot point and are somehow related to "female" problems.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Okay, but why do only second-degree polynomials yield parabolic curves? You can't just say it and leave it like that!

The vapors included fatigue and a tendency to faint at the drop of a plot point and are somehow related to "female" problems.

Which means it's hysteria and can be alleviated by the application by specially trained medical personnel of a vibrator, right?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Okay, but why do only second-degree polynomials yield parabolic curves?

Ahhh, Emily and Polynomials. That takes me back.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

::wonders if "the vapors" is relatede to "vapor lock"::

Okay, but why do only second-degree polynomials yield parabolic curves?

It has to do with the nature of conic sections.

No, really. I'm pretty sure one could prove this.

eta: or you could prove it from the definition of a parabolic curve and ignore the whole conic section thing, I think....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Which means it's hysteria and can be alleviated by the application by specially trained medical personnel of a vibrator, right?

That's totally my favorite Olde Tyme Remedy.

I have a plan.

Doing a quick run by to ask if anybody here has seen this show 'Fire Me, Please'?

I have never laughed so hard at the T.V. in recent memory!

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Jonathan on Blow-Out just said that he is hair.

I saw a rerun today in which he attended a staff meeting, after-hours, inexplicably holding a comb the entire time. He really is hair.
