See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I am JZ's utter lack of surprise.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It was the shady plaintiffs that doomed the prosecution's case.

I wouldn't be surprised if Michael has molseted children in the past, but IMHO he deserved all the "not guiltys" in this particular case....

Our wings are not tired.

Not guilty. Well, the jury heard a whole lot more than I did, but I wouldn't have convicted the man on what I heard. Although really Michael, enough with the sleepovers, ok?

brillig

"Damned weird" != "child molester." I'm pleased the country can still tell the difference.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

My coworkers have decided this was a mercy not-guilty decree. Not for Michael nor for his poor plastic nose, but for the fans who were on suicide watch outside the courthouse.

Which, you know, is sort of getting in the way of mercy for me, because I would be much, much happier in my life if Michael Jackson and all fans who love their fandom enough to be suicidal about it would vacate the earth toot sweet.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would be much, much happier in my life if Michael Jackson and all fans who love their fandom enough to be suicidal about it would vacate the earth toot sweet.

You say that now, but surely the press coverage would drive us all insane.

Vortex -- I had a lot of fun! I wanted more violence, but was very happy with the amount of comedy I got. I should surf the web for more Brad Pitt pictures to celebrate.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

"We the jury return the verdict of 'Ew' on the sleepovers...."

Ha. Yes. I have not followed the case to have an opinion on it, but really, just for Michael Jackson there should be a verdict of "not guilty but DAMN CREEPY all the same."

Our wings are not tired.

ION, it looks like the 3 people on the DC-3 that crashed in Ft. Lauderdale all got out of the plane before it burst into flames. Apparently no injuries in the neighborhood either. Cool.
