"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

This also explains the hotness that is Vincent D'Onofrio as Robert Goren in L&O:CI. Definitely not my type normally, but all that intelligence, wrapped up with that intensity?

Kathy is me. And here I thought I was all alone.

And here I thought I was all alone.

Ah, no.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I have no idea, but if you're going to exchange the thermos anyhow, you can sometimes find very small chill bags--like lunch bag size--that you could probably stick in your carry on, or in D's.

It is one of those bags, but DH's carryon is pretty much full with the laptop and the camera (I think he can squeeze his iPod into a side pocket somewhere), while mine is devoted to Annabel's diapers, toys, emergency change of clothes, and snacks, with just barely enough room for me to stuff in a paperback and a change of socks and underwear in case we get stranded overnight. No room for a chill bag in either.

Wait--I've got it. The chill bag is Annabel's carryon. We're good.

My dad is fixing my faucet. Oh dear.

Huh. It worked.

Also? I'm laughing at the Lily pictures. Oh, she's adorable. The cranky face is priceless.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mmmm, ripe strawberries and sour cream.(Though I usually add a bit of sugar 'cuz I have a major sweet tooth)

Judging by one board I read, there are plenty of women who find Vincent D'onofrio as Goren hot.And some find him hot anywhere they find him.(Though I wish they'd calm down a bit. L&O:CI is not over just because they're splitting the eps between Goren and Logan next year. Sheesh.)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I am totally on board the strawberries and sour cream train.

Gus, the pictures of me are not in fact either eleven years old or evidence of Zmayhem's having made the time-space continuum its bitch; I dropped the camera onto a concrete floor while vintage-clothing-shopping with Perkins and Sparky1 a couple of weeks ago, so now it's all swaddled in tape and the annoying datestamp thingie appears every time we turn it on.

It's possible that the camera itself dates from 1994, and in its decrepit and crippled old age is perpetually casting memory back to its salad days, when it was green in f-stop. I dunno. I do know we need a new camera.

There was another coffee incident this morning: espresso machine all loaded up, machine on, no cup to catch the espresso, kitchen counter all awash in espresso. This is becoming an unpleasant habit with me.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

JZ, you know the problem with the espresso machine? You think there's a cup sitting there because your hair is partially blocking your view.
