I just found the arrow single chapter drabble that I have wanted the author to write a follow up to for 2 years. nothing yet.
Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
I haven't even seen Zootopia and I ship the bunny and the fox.
I also ship the bunny and the fox, but no way in hell will I go read Zootopia fic. Nuh. Uh.
3) I am such a newb to all this still - Character/YOU or Character/READER wha? how is there dialogue - I just don't brain that way.
There are a LOT of us who don't brain that way. I still side-eye Character/YOU or Character/READER fic really hard. Just write a self-insert Mary Sue the way the rest of us did back in the day!
There is also apparently a...thing where there's a standard character string used (y/n or something like that) so that readers can search and replace to put their names in.
I feel like one of those "uphill both ways, barefoot, in the snow" old timers.

Oh, so THAT'S what I see on Tumblr. I had no idea what that was.

I did not know this. Huh.

Damn straight.
I did not know this. Huh.
Me neither! Fans, man. Still being creative, all these years later.
I'm trying to decide whether to sign up for the Narnia fic exchange. It's the only exchange I've had any success with over the years, but I always find writing to deadline stressful, and I haven't written any fiction at all in a couple of years...
I gotta say, /reader shit is why I have AO3 savior installed. It's blocked as hard as Tom Hiddleston and Darcy Lweis.
I need time to write. The story I am working on probably has an audience of exactly one. But I still want to finish it! (I have other WIPs with wider audiences, but my audience of one is going through health stuff and it might cheer her up.)
(AKA, "Here's the Gifted Five Things nobody actually needed but I felt compelled to write, and did I mention it's gen as hell?")

Excuse me? There's a way to block tags that don't appeal? I don't have see how quickly I can scroll past stories about knotting?
