He certainly wouldn't be boring as a father. Although I can picture him making a few miscalculations about what makes for a good (read: healthy) bedtime story.
ETA: I can also imagine that he might make for an interesting neighbor, particularly if you did him a favor. "Oh, hey, some big blond bloke came looking for you, and I didn't like his attitude so I told him you'd moved out and gone to Alaska and there's a nice Argentinian couple living here now."
Considering who Loki's kids are in mythology, I don't see him as being a model parent. Though I guess Sleipnir turned out all right.
Sleipnir is pretty much the only Loki kidfic I will read. Because reasons and funny.
Windsparrow, that made me think of Spike trying to tell Dawn stories.
Yeah, you aren't wrong, erika. Spike and Loki would have different styles, but anyone they actually care about gets cared for. I can't decide which of them would have worse parenting skills.
Kuwdora has a nice post of vid recs from the vid-party at Wiscon:

You like considering the horse mask?
You know, I hadn't, and now I have!
I wandered over to AO3 to give my brain something different to distract it and found my way into a fun little Castle/SPN multi-parter. Unfortunately, I found (4 chapters in) it's not completed. Is there a way to subscribe or something so I'll hear about updates?
