What I'd love from Winter Soldier post canon is some Natasha-centric gen. Or low-key Steve/Natasha. She was my favourite thing in the film and there doesn't seem to be much fic about her. I was trolling AO3 for fic then gave up after getting lost in a sea of Steve/Bucky and Steve/Sam (which I totally see good bases for in the movie! It's just not my thing.)
'Not Fade Away'
Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Amy, I have some things bookmarked as recs on AO3.
What mood are you looking for with it?
Angsty, angsty Bucky would be good. Even angsty Steve. Natasha taking care of things. Sex or not, doesn't matter.
I wouldn't mind some let's-work-off-our-stress Sam/Steve, either. Or Natasha/Steve, for that matter.
I have most of the above, probably. I can verify when I get home.
Cool beans. And many thanks!
Oh, I LOVE getting typo corrections on a 122,000-word story I posted three years ago.
NOT.

This is why I only correct one writer, and that was after asking her. I honestly would love to correct every error I see, because I don't see a downside other than the public forum (why no messaging, AO3?). Annie D is one of those writers who I feel bad if I can't comment either early or of substance on. I just love everything she's written (well, except that cockwarmer Cas--I wonder what the inspiration for that was).
Then again, I ask for critiques on most of my posted art and only one person gives them. Whoever she is, she's my favourite, and giving her permission to drabble on one series of pictures was a no brainer, even if she sucks, because I know how she feels about them.
Consuela, I'm leaving reviews on Carpetbaggers on FFN every few chapters or so. I don't expect separate replies for each one.
Oh, is that you, Windsparrow? Thanks so much, it's been really gratifying to see them come in!
I'm sorry I haven't replied yet, but I wanted to let you know I love to hear your thoughts.
You should know, too, that if you read it on the AO3, the formatting is better and you can download it in one file to put on an ereader. Should you, ahem, want to do that.
That is one of my favorite things about AO3.
