It's weird. For some reason, the first page of the D/C filter for SPN fics is worse summaries than usual. Submitting your story twice while spelling Supernatural wrong in the title (both times) and using the tag "Attempt at humor"? Not as eye-rolly as this (complete) summary:
This is a Supernatural Fanfic, based off of the TV series. In this thrilling fanfiction, it follows the usual story line and ideas of the original show with a few very, very minor changes. It focuses on the forming bond and relationship between Castiel and Dean, slowly forming into the big known couples name, Destiel. My story is a slow pace moving story, meaning it isn't all "I love you. I love you too. -make'slove-" right off the bat, kind of story; there is a plot and development to the story in order to keep it ongoing and not as a short 3 page fanfic. I would appreciate it if anyone who reads could leave a comment, or bookmark my story if they enjoyed it. I will consistently be trying to update it as soon as I can around my busy work schedule.
FYI, Cas feels a pulsating need to kiss Dean in the first paragraph or so. It is probably worse than the songfic using MLP songs. I'll never know for sure because a) I am now blind and b) I'm not clicking on the songfic.
We are capable of such blindness, aren't we? Then again--not all audiences are the same.

But what does Cas taste like?
But what does Cas taste like?
You've just reminded me that I made a mental note to update three new Castiellian flavours, and then forgot which stories I meant..
(Why the fuck would you make someone taste like cinnamon and watermelon? What does that add to anything, ever, except confusion?)
Back to summaries--I think someone should poll readers (maybe just readers who aren't writers--I don't know which is more useful) on what they think makes them click on a story. And what makes them not click. Which tags win us over or drive us away, no matter what. What ways of discussing topics turn us on or off?
There might be enough commonality there that you could at least think--okay, I'm writing PWP, those readers tend to want to know who's pitching/catching or bottom/topping or sub/Domming, as well as these high-value kinks, but curtain-fics are best described with less detail, yadda yadda.
I'd just want to know for knowing's sake.
I read a creepily unedited fic yesterday that slipped into first person for two sentences in the middle of the porn. Yoinks! Way to burst bubbles.
He tastes like OZONE, people. Come on.
Even when he's not an angel he tends to be the odd-tasting one in the relationship. Dean tastes of pine and motor oil. Mmm mmm good.
In at least one episode, he probably tasted like hamburgers.
::snorts tea accidentally::
I think I have one VividCon DVD set available for claiming.
