Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Had to step away from a fic for a moment because they were dissing Army food. College cafeterias and MREs, sure, but DiFacs and Spoons are one of the Army's primary morale boosters, and you don't get that with shitty food.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fanfic because people want attention. I'd assume the same for fanart

my question isn't why fake it--rather it is why accept it?

I'd assume the same for fanart but on my phone it's harder to see the big differences in the two images you linked.

She ran a filter over the photo. If you look at her gallery there are some clearly pencil-drawn pictures, and she's not very good. I don't think there are that many people who can be original and photorealistic in digital art, and seem to have forgotten what perspective is with a pencil.

And if there are many, she's not one of them, because she's posting photos!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

She's at least tagging them at as airbrushes.

Look at the other entries in that folder: [link] She's not copping to anything. And if you say "thank you" to all the "looks just like them!" comments, you're deliberately trading on, at best, a misconception.

I didn't dig that far so I took it as not calling out a commenter on being a dumbass. But it sounds like that was too charitable.

In my defense, I was distracted by how quickly the comments devolved into No Homo. Bizarre.

Seriously. Clearly I need to pay more attention to who I'm demanding things of.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I just talked myself out of asking an author why her story had Scott McCall possessed by a gossipy Samantha Jones from Sex and the City, calling Stiles up to breathlessly demand details about new developments in his love life. If it hadn't been by the author of one of my favorite stories in the fandom, I'd have set my keyboard on Burn Bridges and hit the send button.

Are you thinking of the Equalizer's son? Father? Brother?
